Duties:
The Technical Services department of the Lyman Beecher Brooks Library is hiring work-study students for the fall 2016 semester. Job duties include the physical processing of library resources, assisting with inventory, and special projects. Applicants must be able to work independently, be dependable, and punctual. Applicants should possess strong communication skills and have a basic knowledge of computers. He/she should work well in a team environment and be able to take direction from multiple sources. Applicants must have exceptional judgment and be a creative thinker. Physical Requirements: Applicants should be able to lift up to 20 pounds and be able to stoop, kneels, crouch, grasp, push, pull, and maintain their balance.
Qualifications:
Qualifications: Some experience in library work is preferred. Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to focus and computer proficiency is preferred. Student must be awarded work-study for the fall 2016 term.
