Duties:
Under the guidance of the laboratory supervisor, perform all assigned tasks. Assist supervisor in set-up and disassembly of labs and preparation of solutions, stains, reagents and media used in testing according to written instructions. Perform animal husbandry and plant care. Collect organismal samples to include, microbes, plants and animals. Responsible for cleaning laboratory glassware and maintaining assigned work area in a clean and orderly condition. Assist laboratory instructors with reasonable requests concerning the operation of the labs. Maintain overall laboratory safety.
Qualifications:
Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, etc.) and Health Science majors preferred. All majors may apply. Must be awarded work-study for the Fall 2017 term.
