Duties:
The Lyman Beecher Brooks Library (Media Resource Center in the Access Services Department) is hiring work-study students for the summer semester. Job duties include, but are not limited to: assisting students with media projects, creating media presentations, assisting with special media productions, data entry, monitoring the Media Resource Center and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Applicants must prove they have been awarded work-study for summer 2017 session I. Additionally, students must be familiar with media based software such as: Adobe Creative Cloud, PROTOOLS, Reason, Adobe Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe Premiere. Students should also be familiar with Google Drive and Microsoft office. The preferred candidate will have great customer service skills in a diverse environment, possess sound judgement, and be self-motivated, a technology background, and a solid understanding of media production. Students must exhibit a mature and pleasant attitude. In addition be willingness to learn and articulate, self- assured, and student must be ambitious. Excellent oral and writing skills. **Physical requirements: Applicants must be able to lift up to 20 pounds on a consistent basis and have the ability to stoop, kneel, grasp, push, pull and maintain balance.
