Duties:
The mission of Testing Services is to provide opportunities for students, faculty, staff, and local residents to transform lives and communities, by providing exemplary services and innovative technologies in the delivery of local, national and professional certification examinations; to support lifelong learning and professional advancement. Testing Services is seeking a dynamic and responsible student to serve as the Testing Services Work Study Office Assistant. The incumbent will provide receptionist and proctor support for the department. The Testing Services Work Study Office Assistant ensures the integrity of the testing environment while providing exemplary customer service, clerical assistance, and proctor support to clients, in accordance with NCTA standards and national test sponsor regulations. Duties and responsibilities include: 1. Answer telephone, greet and assist persons entering the Testing Services office. 2. Assist with proctoring exams when needed. 3. Assist with daily inspection of Testing Center computers when needed, to ensure that workstations are functioning properly. 4. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. • Skilled in using computerized applications for word processing. • Skilled in troubleshooting computer operations. Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification required for entry into position: • Must be a current NSU student. • Preference will be given to NSU graduate students.

Must be awarded work-study for the fall 2025 term.
