Supervises student-athletes in a study hall environment. Maintains the appropriate study hall environment by enforcing study hall rules and guidelines. Communicates aims/objectives to students in a well-planned, organized, and concise manner. Takes the necessary precautions to protect students, equipment, materials and facilities. Conducts oneself in a professional manner in all aspects of their relationship with the student-athletes. Submits nightly study hall reports, tracking student-athlete attendance, facility issues, and/or concerns to SAAS staff members. Understands that compliance is a critical element of this position and adheres to the NCAA, MEAC and university rules, regulations, and policies. Informs SAAS staff members of the atmosphere of study hall and any potential problems. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of basic office techniques. Knowledge of basic customer service techniques. Skill in effective written and verbal communications. Must be awarded Federal Work-Study for the summer session I term.
