Duties:
The part-time Compliance Intern assists with the day-to-day operations of the Athletics Compliance Office and assists with implementing, educating, monitoring and enforcing compliance policies and procedures related to NCAA, MEAC and Norfolk State University regulations. Will work with various on-campus entities to support, monitor and educate in regards to overall University compliance, as it relates to intercollegiate athletics.
Qualifications:
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly, concisely and logically express ideas, information and complex situations; demonstrated organizational and time management skills; ability to maintain confidential records and files; skilled in the application of judgment in the release of information to authorized persons; ability to operating a variety of office equipment. Working knowledge of general bookkeeping practices/procedures is preferred. Must be awarded federal work-study for the fall 2022 term.
