The Department of English and Foreign Languages is hiring work-study students for the 2023 Summer Semester Job Duties include, but are not limited to, Answering telephone(s), provide information, direct phone calls and take messages as needed, Provide front desk coverage and clerical support, Sort and distribute mail and deliver items to campus partners, Other duties as assigned.
Hours for Summer session: If you are enrolled in Summer School you may only be allowed to work 20 hours. Students not enrolled in Summer School may work a full 40 hours schedule with the ENFL Office.
Applicants must prove that they've been awarded work-study for the Summer 2023 semester. Additionally, applicants must be able to work independently. The preferred candidate will have great customer service working in a diverse environment, possess sound judgement, and be self-motivated. Must be a full-time or part-time undergraduate student at NSU, All student employees must have and maintain at least a 2.5 semester and cumulative GPA, Available during business hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills, Proficient in Internet-based research, Microsoft Office products, MyNsu, Outlook Email and Calendar. Prior administrative, office, and/or customer service-related experience and Campus involvement and knowledge of English and Foreign Languages.
