Duties:
- Candidate should be somewhat technically inclined with the capabilities of being able to analyze and extract utility data,
- Provide technical support such as data entry, printing, copying, and filing utility data to various energy platforms.
- Develop files to sort the utility invoices into the correct files.
- Responsible for access to specific accounts to extract invoices/data.
- Import such into EXCEL spreadsheets.
- Be able to utilize EXCEL to develop charts and graphs
- Be able to present about EXCEL spreadsheet data reporting
- Be able to follow direction
- Communicate well.
- Be prompt.
- Have the willingness to want to learn and take directions.
- The desire to learn how to correlate, calculate and summarize energy and water utility information that will be utilized to support various departments throughout NSU.
- Able to work 20hr/week. (Schedule is negotiable up to 20hrs week no less than 6hrs per week)
- Willing to support other tasks associated with the Energy & Sustainability department outside of data retrieving
- Willing to work outside on occasion to learn other key energy data gathering information.
- Support the Energy & Sustainability department during events, functions, and presentations.
- Director of Energy & Sustainability, Richard E Martin, will be your direct supervisor and will provide you with daily assignments and guidance on your responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Must be awarded work-study for the Spring 2026 term.
