Duties:
You will be responsible for assisting in the managing and coordination in all aspects of a game or athletic event, from planning and setup to execution and breakdown. You will also assist in overseeing, maintaining, and organizing sports equipment for athletic teams. • Ensure that all gear is in good condition and meets safety standards, as well as assisting athletes in properly using and caring for their equipment. • Main duties and responsibilities include: -Setting up venue for athletic events or practices -Inventorying athletic equipment -Ensuring all equipment is in good working condition and meets all safety standards - Inspecting equipment as necessary -Organizing and maintaining storage areas for athletic equipment - Keeping detailed records of equipment use, maintenance, and repairs.
Qualifications:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak with all levels of employees, guests, vendors and team members • Great time management, organization and prioritization abilities • Keen attention to detail and efficient problem-solving skills • Ability to lift equipment up to 25pds and comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time
Must be awarded federal work-study for the fall 2025 term.
