Professor Emeritus –This title is to be considered the highest honor the academic community can bestow upon one of its members in recognition to those distinguished individuals of the academic community at Norfolk State University who, in addition to rendering long and faithful service to the University, have unselfishly made outstanding contributions above and beyond those expected of all conscientious employees.

This site and gallery are dedicated to the Norfolk State University Faculty Emeriti for all that they have done, and continue to do for the University and our student population. As a further token of our appreciation, the original NSU Emeriti Picture Frame and NSU Green & Gold Wreath with Gold Mortarboard and Diploma logo featured in this site have been created just for you. Thank you
